The douchiest of videos from the oldest of schools. Lots of grand gestures that are just shells on the same thing, not much creativity in the architecture of the interior/programatic spaces, perhaps because of the demanding nature of codes, etc in stadiums? I like the oasis best, but it's pretty boring still. 'ribbons of friendship'? REALLY? and 2022, 10 years down the road, is that premature or will it take that long to design and build? In any case, Qatar is in the middle of the desert, nothing should be there anyway.

True indeed tom. <3.
The only clear positive that I see is that the cup is not for another twelve years. They have a lot to build, stadia aside. It will take at least that long to make anything viable.
As for those stadia. It looks as if youngish firms are doing these. The presentations were scattered, some including semi-technical drawings, but most cluttered with half-baked renders.
